Boston University, USA, introduces Mobile Application for MS in Investment Banking program coursework

The School of Management at Boston University, USA, together with Pyxis Mobile developed an educational PDA for sharing investment research and extending coursework in the School´s MSIM program beyond the classroom walls and onto BlackBerry smartphones that are powered by a new mobile enterprise application platform.

The platform, developed by Pyxis Mobile and MSIM faculty director Scott Stewart, is known as MEAP, which stands for "mobile enterprise application platform." It connects students to investment research supporting live portfolio management, enabling them to replicate the roles of equity analysts in the field.

It works on all BlackBerry smartphones and advances research on the sharing of financial information via PDAs.
